We Love Matt Pop Vol. 2 arrives on iTunes
“Almighty Presents: We Love Matt Pop Volume 2” is now also available from iTunes! The second ever official Matt Pop compilation featuring 12 remixes, hand-picked by myself with Almighty. These are my personal favourites from the many mixes I have done for Almighty Records over the years. The album also includes a brandnew cover of the Kraftwerk hit The Model with myself on vocals; the second ever release with me singing. There is also this exclusive new remix of Amoureuse by Illusive featuring Amanda Abbs, a remix I have wanted to do for a long time. The album features some versions that were either never released before, or never on cd, or only on promos.

Energise 24!
What a brilliant night last Sunday at The Two Brewers in London! Energise Records celebrated one of the best years in their 24-year existence with an anniversary party that brought together most of their line-up of artists for an evening of non-stop pop.
Peter Wilson had flown in from Australia, we had Katie and Allan Jay from Scotland, Eurovision legend Linda Martin from Ireland, Haywoode had come over from New York, plus the fabulous Rozalla, Nicki French, Ben Davidson, Suzanna Dee, and SCAR all performed live. In between, there were DJ sets from myself, DJ Energise and Craig Jones.
I got to premiere a couple of new tracks on the night and Rozalla sang her new single Shadows Of The Moon in the Matt Pop Mix for the very first time. It was also a chance for me to meet some of the artists I have worked for but never met in person, like the lovely Sid Haywoode, who performed her biggest hits Roses and PWL favourite Getting Closer.
I would like to thank everyone who came up to me to say hello, gave me stuff to sign, took pictures or bought me drinks; you all made my night! And as next year is Energise’s 25th anniversary, there is a good chance we may have to do the whole thing all over again – good grief!
