Energise and Hazell Dean are heating things up as the release of Hazell‘s album Nightlife looms ever nearer. Keep an eye out for cover art and release date on their pages soon. The next Italove single will be We Don’t Care, an Italo-EDM-Pop-Dance hybrid, written by Dr. Mateo and produced by Matt Pop. There will be a radio-friendly Matt Pop mix, as well as a sensational 7+ minute Club mix, and additional remixes. It premiered during the band’s recent live performance at the Stockholm Italo Party, and the video will be shot this weekend. Keep an eye out for this release very soon!

After the success of Too Late To Cry earlier this year, which included a Matt Pop remix, the next single by Swedish Italo Disco darlings Italove will be  a track written and recorded by Italove and produced by Matt Pop. Song title and release details to be announced soon.

Last night at The Winston Kingdom, Amsterdam, I stood behind the decks once again for the 13th edition of the infamous Euro Song Travestival. The house was packed and everyone agreed that this year was the best ever, with very strong voices, some surprising newcomers, and a performance of Conchita‘s Rise Like A Phoenix featuring “special effects” that had everyone absolutely in stitches. The real Eurovision Song Contest is 60 years old this year so I thought I’d gather all my Eurovision-related mixes together (except Euphoria, which is available from my Legitmix page) for a timely give-away. I have been a little cheeky by including my ABBA-Blondie mash-up, but then again: Ring Ring WAS ABBA‘s first attempt, even if it didn’t make it through the Swedish pre-selection in 1973. Countries represented in my give-away are The Netherlands, Israel, Sweden, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Belgium, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Serbia & Montenegro, and the United Kingdom.
