The original version of Do It Baby, written by Polle Eduard, was recorded for the Johnny Rodrigues album Hey Mal Yo. The song turned out so well that producer Peter Tetteroo adapted it with his vocals and those of Polle.
With Patricia Paay, Yvonne Keeley (Starsisters) & Anita Meyer on backing vocals, a new Tee-Set hit single was born.
After the successful Matt Pop & Tee-Set single releases She Likes Weeds & Ma Belle Amie, Do It Baby gets an uplifting, reggae-infused remake, perfect for summer, and with the approval of the author Polle Eduard!
