Hazell Dean album tracklist confirmed!

Some of you had already seen this on the Energise Records website. These are the tracks that will appear on Hazell Dean‘s much anticipated new album “In The Name Of”. All these tracks have been remixed by Matt Pop for the album. Energise, Matt and Hazell are all very excited about this album – it is a dance classics party from start to finish! Release date has not yet been divulged, but we have all been waiting forever, so it can’t be long now, right? As soon as I hear anything, I will post it here. Also released soon: the full-on, no holds barred Matt Pop club mix of This Is My Life! www.energiserecords.com

March 2013

Thank you all for supporting and contributing to the MattPopOfficial Facebook page these past few weeks. Your response, especially to the free mix give-away (now expired) and Matt‘s latest ABBA bootleg Hey Hey Helen, has been very rewarding. So what’s next? The CD-r single of Endless Road by Peter Wilson and Sammy Paul  is now available from www.energiserecords.com, with all-new mixes by Luc Labarre and Argonaut, plus Matt Pop’s Road To Amsterdam club mix. This limited edition CD-r single is a little extra that Peter Wilson and Energise Records prepared for the many fans of Peter‘s album Laser Light, and it will not be available to download. Meanwhile, Matt Pop is already working on material for Peter‘s next album, to be released summer 2013. And at Almighty Records, the finishing touches are being put to We Love Matt Pop, the double album that will feature Matt Pop mixes from  many different artists. I can’t reveal the tracklisting just yet, but the release is approaching fast! More Matt Pop mixes still in the pipeline, but due for release in the coming months: When Boy Meets Boy (Matt Pop’s Cartoon Club Mix) by Matt Fishel, This Is My Life (single) and In The Name Of (album) by Hazell Dean, and 24 Hours (album) by Sammy Paul. Updates here or on www.facebook.com/MattPopOfficial.

Presents!

To celebrate the launch of Matt Pop‘s official Facebook page, and also to compensate for the demise of the Facebook fan group, Matt has prepared a nice little give-away for you all. Head over there now to collect your prize!

Matt Pop on Facebook

Sadly,  the Matt Pop Facebook fan group has been taken down, after a personal dispute with one of the group’s administrators.  It is a shame, since many of you seemed to enjoy the free mix give-aways, the Q & A’s and the Matt Pop Meet & Greet that were aranged through the group page, for example. Matt Pop wishes to express his gratitude to Andy and Hans for running the page and all the members over the years for their kind words and probing questions 🙂  However, Matt has finally decided to join the rest of the world, and become an official Facebook member  himself! So in addition to www.mattpop.nl, you can now also find Matt on Facebook,  for the latest news, updates, releases, photo’s and more.
