So, the Matt Pop Meet, Greet and Eat was a huge success;  we ate, we drank, we danced, we laughed, we cried – well, maybe not quite. Still, a good time was had by everyone – especially by those who had plans to attend certain parties of a questionable nature afterwards… Special thanks to Michael Higgins for all the work he put into his lovely presents, and to Andy Ross of the Facebook Matt Pop Fan Group for coming up with the harebrained idea of a Meet & Greet in the first place. There is now even talk of doing it all again next year!

The remix EP (Here It Comes) Around Again by RuPaul is released today, featuring 2 completely different Matt Pop mixes of the title track, plus the mega high energy Matt Pop club mix of Glamazon, and the instrumental version of Matt‘s If I Dream club mix! The fourth remix EP that RuPaul releases this year is the mighty,  life-affirming anthem Live Forever, and the 6 minute Matt Pop Mixshow version is naturally the mix to go to first. Matt Pop mixes. Ru was so taken by Matt‘s productions, that she has decided to include 2 Matt Pop instrumentals  – the first time that instrumental versions of Matt‘s mixes are released. “(Here It Comes) Around Again – Remixes” is released November 13,  and “If I Dream – Remixes” wil be released November 20.
